Sorority plans banquet for Women’s History Month

To celebrate the end of Women’s History Month, an on-campus sorority will host a semi-formal banquet.
The Grand Valley State University chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority will host the “RemArKAble Women Banquet” on Sunday. It is a semi-formal dinner open to everyone.
The sorority members will recognize local female business leaders for their contributions to the community. The organization says it plans to foster encouragement, awareness and pay homage to successful women.
The “RemArKAble Women Banquet” takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, in the Allendale Campus’ Alumni House.
