Campus Recreation to host health issues film series

Grand Valley State University’s Campus Recreation office, in a partnership with several other campus offices, is hosting a semester-long series featuring films that address different health issues. Tomorrow evening will kick off the series with the showing of a segment of the documentary “The Weight of the Nation,” followed by a small group discussion. The events will all be held from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in 2270 Kirkhof Center. The event is open to all students and has been approved for LIB 100 and 201 classes. Although not necessary, registration is encouraged for each meeting. To register or view a full list of films and dates, visit www.gvsu.edu/rec/registration-index.htm.
