Grand Rapids hosts first ever “GrandCon”

Grand Rapids’ first comic book and board game convention was held at the Prince Conference Center at Calvin College last week. About 600 gamers pre-registered for the event, but tickets were still available when doors opened Friday morning. The event featured tabletop gaming, comic book vendors, seminars about how to play certain board games and speeches by comic book-related guests. Special guests included famous video game, board game and comic book authors, artists and publishers. For more information on GrandCon, visit grand-con.com.
