​Counseling Center provides suicide prevention training

The University Counseling Center is providing students with an informational event at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18 in Room 2215/2216 in the Kirkhof Center. The event is LIB 100/LIB 201 approved.

Students will learn common misconceptions about suicide, recognize warning signs and receive training in question, persuade and refer (QPR) methods of prevention. The event focuses on the social and cultural aspects of suicide, which is the second leading cause of death for college students.
