Students tuck their heads down to avoid the harsh winter weather on Grand Valley State University’s Allendale campus

University libraries at Grand Valley State University will close their doors earlier than usual due to “inclement weather.” Both the Zumberge Library in Allendale and Steelcase Library on the Pew Campus in Grand Rapids will close at 9 p.m. while the Frey Foundation Learning Center in GVSU’s Cook-DeVos Center for Heath Science will close at 8 p.m.

Earlier today the university cancelled all classes and on-campus activities after 4 p.m., though the announcement said all essential services such as the library, recreation center, food service and buildings like the Kirkhof Center will remain open until the revised closing times above.
