Lecture series by World Affairs Council of Western Michigan free for GVSU community

Grand Valley State University has partnered with the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan to make the “Great Decisions 2014” lecture series free for members of the campus community. The series begins today and continues every Monday until March 31. Both national and international experts will be featured in the series, presenting on a variety of topics such as national security leaks, food insecurities and trade policies. Lectures will begin at 6 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids. Students, faculty and staff members that plan to attend are asked to sign-in at the college desk. Dina Temple-Raston, the counterterrorism correspondent for National Public Radio, will be the first to present.
