The deadline to complete the myGVSU survey has been extended to Feb. 18.

Dr. Neal Rogness, associate professor of statistics, said Grand Valley State University’s fourth campus climate study was extended for lack of participation, as also noted in the school-wide e-mail sent to students by president Thomas J. Haas and Student Senate president Jarrett Martus.

As of Sunday night, Rogness said about 17 percent of all GVSU students had completed the survey.

“We’d really like to have more students share their voices about what it’s like for them to learn, live and work at Grand Valley,” Rogness said.

Those who complete the survey will earn a chance to register for prizes, including an iPad, restaurant gift certificates and dinner and a performance of the Broadway musical “Grease” with President Thomas J. and Marcia Haas.

“In order to make Grand Valley an even better place than it already is, we need to hear from members of the university community,” Rogness said. “Students are vital members of our community, and we’d really like to hear from more of them. If extending the survey deadline give students a little more time in which to participate, we’re happy to do so.”

The myGVSU survey takes about 30 minutes to complete. It can be found online at online.survey.psu.edu/gvsu.
