Head: Best Grand Rapids food and drink deals every day of the week

Working on a student budget can be extremely limiting, especially when it comes to going out. This leaves a lot of students staying home out of fear of breaking their bank. What many people may not
know, however, is that Grand Rapids—the social hot spot that it is—has many different places that offer discounts to students looking to stay under budget while still having fun. Below is a list of some weekly deals that popular Grand Rapids spots have to offer (note: many of these locations are only for those 21 and over):

Monday
HopCat: Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., HopCat offers $5 off burgers and $1.50 off local beer, wine and cocktails. From 3 p.m. to closing, you can grab half-off appetizers and crack fries, as well as $1.50 off local pints.

Stella’s Lounge: On Monday, Stella’s features unique spoken-word poetry/acoustic open mic/feel-good comedy shows starting at 8 p.m. You can also grab $3.25 sangria and $4 New Holland Poet and Paleooza.

Tuesday
Buffalo Wild Wings: On Tuesday at Buffalo Wild Wings, all bone-in wings are offered at a discounted price (around 50 percent off) all day long. 

Grand Rapids Brewing Company: From 6 p.m. to closing, you can enjoy $2 off tier one and two beers at Grand Rapids Brewing Company.

Wednesday
Mojo’s Dueling Piano Bar: On Wednesday, Mojo’s piano show starts at 8 p.m. From 9 p.m. to midnight, the piano bar offers $4 vodka bombs and $3 Red Bull vodkas; from 10 p.m. to midnight, $2 domestics and wells; and a $3 cover charge starting at 9 p.m., free with a valid college ID.

The Holiday Bar: Here, you can purchase half-off bottles of wine from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Thursday
Stella’s Lounge: From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Stella’s features $5 off all burgers with the purchase of a drink.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Thursday is wing day at Buffalo Wild Wings. All boneless wings are offered at a discounted price (around 50 percent off) all day long.

Friday
Bob’s Sports Bar: Head over to Bob’s on Friday for a $10 craft beer pitcher, $7 domestic beer pitcher, and $6 PBR pitcher.

Luna: From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., enjoy $1 off all beer, $2 off all wine, $4 Dark & Stormy and Limonada Rosa, $5 classic Margaritas, and $6 Bourbon Lemonade and Cucumber Mule.

Saturday
The Holiday Bar: Saturdays mean live entertainment at The Holiday Bar. Local DJs and bands start at 10 p.m., and there are $2 pints, $3.50 mugs of PBR and $3 Fireball.

Grand Rapids Brewing Company: Every Saturday and Sunday, Grand Rapids Brewing Company features a Bloody Mary bar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sunday
HopCat: HopCat customers can grab half-off appetizers and crack fries from 10 p.m. to closing, Sunday through Wednesday.

Stella’s Lounge: On Sunday, head to Stella’s for brunch and a build-your-own $5 Bloody Mary bar from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
