The Grand Valley State University Book Club will run a 5K race around campus where students are encouraged to dress up as their favorite book character.

The “Character 5K” is open to the whole GVSU community and will go from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, March 27. Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. at the clock tower with a $5 admission cost.

The top three runners and top three costumes will receive prize awards. However, dressing up in a costume is not required for participation.
