The Grand Valley State University men’s club soccer team won the Consolation bracket of the NCCS National Soccer Championships in Memphis, Tenn.

GVSU started the tournament with a pair of one-goal losses to Weber State University (1-0) and Washington State University (2-1).

After being sent to the Consolation bracket, the Lakers got back to their winning ways. They defeated Auburn University, the University of Minnesota and the University of Florida to earn the Consolation Championship.
