GV license plate gets makeover
Jun 18, 2012
On Aug. 1, Grand Valley State University will be officially release a newly designed GVSU license plate for students, faculty, staff and alumni who want to sport some mobile Laker pride, with the same bold “G-V” logo that used by GVSU’s athletic teams.
Though the plates’ current blue “Circle-G” logo is being replaced, it is still GVSU’s institutional logo and the change is being made to the license plate design only.
The new design cost the university $2,000 to change, and will cost Lakers $35 each, with $25 going directly to the university.
To order the new plate, visit any Michigan Secretary of State branch office or go online to www.michigan.gov/sos and search for “Grand Valley State University.”
