The men’s club soccer team is one of 24 teams heading to the 2012 NIRSA NCCS National Soccer Championships in Memphis, Tenn. According to the official Grand Valley State University men’s soccer Twitter, the men leave next Wednesday to Memphis for their practice day; pool play starts Thursday. They finished the season with a record of 15-4, 8-2 in Midwest Alliance Soccer Conference games. GVSU will take on the University of Washington and the reigning champions of Weber State on Thursday. The national title game will be played at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
