West MI to face health difficulties
Jan 13, 2013
The West Michigan area’s increasingly aging population as well as the decreasing number of young people could result in higher health care costs, according to Grand Valley State University researchers. “Health Check: Analyzing trends in West Michigan 2013” was created by Seidman College of Business professors Sonia Dalmia and Paul Isely. This report looks at trends in the Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon, and Allegan counties. These trends analyzed the job market, medical patents, demographics, and health care profiles and economics.
