St. Patrick’s Day tie-dye party
As part of their St. Patrick’s Day festivities, Grand Valley State University’s Alcohol and Other Drugs Services (AODS) is celebrating the holiday with a tie-dye party.
Students are encouraged to stop by Room 2263 in the Kirkhof Center on March 14 from 7-8 p.m. to tie-dye a free shirt.
Representatives from AODS will also provide students with tips and information about being safe and responsible during a holiday known for its notorious drinking.
Campus Ministry to host combined service
Grand Valley State University’s Campus Ministry is hosting a special service, combining the Allendale and Pew Campus communities, on March 17 in the Grand River Room of the Kirkhof Center.
The service invites all students, regardless of faith, to enjoy free food, connect with their peers and learn more about Campus Ministry.
The service will last from 7-9 p.m., and it is recommended that students who wish to attend RSVP on LakerLink.
Combating Alzheimer’s disease with dodgeball
To raise support for Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Grand Valley State University’s Alzheimer’s Awareness Club is hosting a dodgeball tournament on March 15.
Students are invited to GVSU’s Recreation Center from 6-8:30 p.m. for friendly matches, with all donations raised during the event going to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Students are encouraged to register prior to the event.
